The Irish Angus Elite Sale of Males and Females was held in Ck-On-Shannon on Saturday 12th December. The Champion bull Turlough Emmett was bred by Martin McHugh, Turlough Castlebar and Sired by Kilkelly Bobby. This bull sold to Michael & Oliver Flanagan Moydrum Castle Pedigree Herds for €3000. Reserve Champion bull was bred by Mel & Seamus Tiernan, Drumgowla, Mohill Co. Leitrim and was unsold.
