IRISH ANGUS CATTLE SOCIETY ALL IRELANDS 2010

Pre-conditions for entry to all qualifier classes – show championships and RDS Champion of Champion awards.

(A).   Owner of each animal exhibited  must be a member of the Irish Angus Cattle Society for a minimum period of 3 months preceeding the Irish Angus Cattle Society All Ireland  finals at Strokestown show on September 11th 2010  and each animal entered must also have been registered in the owners name  in the herd book of the Irish Angus Cattle Society for a minimum period of  3 months preceeding the Irish Angus Cattle Society All Ireland finals at Strokestown Show.

For each individual qualifying show owner of each animal exhibited must be a   member of the Irish Angus Cattle Society and each animal entered must also have been registered in the owners name in the herd book of the Irish Angus Cattle Society.

(B)  Date of birth & Tag number/Herd Book number  must be clearly shown for each entry and this information shall be displayed in the Show catalogue

(C) All exhibitors must have their Irish Angus Cattle Society Herd Book certificate         available for production to the Irish Angus Cattle Society’s representative in accordance with the requirements of clause A above.

Qualifier for Irish Angus All Ireland Senior Male Championship & Senior Female Championship 

All pedigree Angus Cattle born before 1/9/09 and satisfying the above pre- conditions are eligible. One or more qualifiers to go forward to the All Ireland Irish Angus Senior  Championship final on September 11th 2010 at Strokestown Show.

 Qualifier for Irish Angus All Ireland Junior Bull & Heifer Championship

There are six categories:

  • Class A  Bull calf born  1/9/09  -  31/12/09
  • Class B  Bull calf born  1/1/10   -  28/02/10
  • Class C  Bull calf born  1/3/10  onwards     
  • Class D   Heifer calf born 1/9/09  -  31/12/09 
  • Class E   Heifer calf born 1/1/10  -  28/02/10
  • Class F    Heifer calf born 1/3/10 onwards   

One or more  qualifiers from each category to go forward to the All Ireland Irish Angus Junior Bull and Heifer Championship finals on 11th September 2010 at Strokestown Show.  There will be one champion for Each class and one overall Junior champion selected at the finals.
