Saturday 30th June 2007
- 11.00 am - Arrival, Unload animals and tie in stalls, Short Tour of Gurteen College
- 12.30 pm - Lunch
- 1.30 pm - Good feeding practices and nutrition of the animal
- 2.00 pm - Disease Risks, ailments and good health practices
- 2.30 pm - Health and safety with animals
- 3.00 pm - Demonstration on washing, clipping and grooming
- 4.00 pm - Refreshments
- 4.30 pm - Practical workshop for all YDP members on how to prepare their animals. Washing, clipping and grooming - with supervision and assistance from YDP executive.
- 6.30 pm - Parade of animals by YDP members and general discussion on showmanship skills.
- 8.00 pm - Barbeque- plus recreational activities for all

- 10.00 am - Mass/Church Service
- 11.30 am - Judging Demonstration
- 11.45 am - Team Grooming
- 12.15 pm - Team Stock Judging
- 12.45 pm - Final parade of animals by YDP members
- 1.00 pm - Lunch
- 1.30 pm - Presentation to YDP members
- 2.00 pm - YDP Jamboree concludes
- 2.15 pm - Load animals for transporting home - safe journey!
